The ALC08 Series is the most sought-after unit in the Berner line up at Air Door Distributors. Chosen by designers who are concerned with both aesthetics and protecting the intent of the space when the door is open. The ALC08 series is incredibly quiet and rated min 52 dBA / max 54 dBA for single motor units. The ALC08 series is rated for insect control up to 7 feet high and environmental control up to 8 feet high. The ALC08 series is only 8” in height and in lengths from 30” to 120” wide. Units 30” to 72” long feature a single 1/5 HP motor in a one-piece design while units 84”-120” feature a 1/5 HP two-motor one-piece design. The Berner Architectural Low Profile 8 air curtain with built-in Intelliswitch digital controller (10 fan speeds, start/stop and time delay) and clear satin anodized aluminum cabinet, requires a minimum of 8 ½” clearance above the door. Custom Colors or Stainless Steel available. Available in ambient, electric heat, and steam/hot water configurations.
The ALC08 Series is used at entrances to enhance or replace a vestibule to save energy and maintain comfortable interiors. Simple to install, operate, and maintain and made in the USA. The ALC08 Series is great for customer entry, concessions, drive up windows, walk-in coolers, restaurant & foodservice, retail & office, convenience & grocery and residential. The ALC08 applications include light insect control, reduces dust, dirt and fumes and for temperature control stopping the transfer of warm or cold resulting in significant energy costs.
