The Commercial High Performance 10 Series is one of our best choices in the Berner line up at Air Door Distributors. This unit is chosen by designers who are concerned with both aesthetics and protecting the intent of the space when the door is open. The CHD10 series is quiet compared to other brands in the same category rated 3 speeds 64/65/66 dBA for single motors. It is also AMCA certified ambient & electric heated models. Meets ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2019 and the IECC building code which allows AMCA certified air curtains as an alternative to vestibules and made in the USA> The CHD10 series is rated for insect control up to 8 feet and environmental control up to 10 feet high. The CHD10 Series is only 14” in height and in lengths from 36” to 120” wide. Units 36” to 48” long feature a single ½ HP motor in a one-piece design while units from 60” to 96” long feature a two-motor design. Units from 96” to 120” long feature a three-motor design. Simple design, high performance, white or black powder-coated exterior. Custom colors or stainless steel (Grade 304 or better). CHD10 Series is available in ambient & electric heat.
The CHD10 Series is used at entrances to enhance or replace a vestibule to save energy and maintain comfortable interiors. Simple to install, operate, and maintain and made in the USA. The CHD10 series is great for customer entry, restaurant & foodservice, retail & office, convenience and grocery, and airport and transportation. The CHD10 series applications included insect control, reduces dust, dirt and fumes and for temperature / environment control stopping the transfer or warm or cold resulting in significant energy costs.

Commercial High Performance 10 Series Accessories
This model requires a separate Activation Switch.
Basic Control Package
Recommended for openings where the door stays open for an extended period or does not have a lot of traffic.
- Air curtain turns on when door is opened and shuts off when door is closed.
- Consists of a door switch (roller, plunger, or magnetic reed style) and line voltage or 24 volt control
Deluxe Control Package
Recommended for high traffic openings.
- Air curtain turns on when door is opened, when the door closes, the unit remains on until set delay time expires.
- Consists of a door switch (roller, plunger, or magnetic reed style), a time delay, and line voltage or 24 volt control.
Comfort Plus Control Package
Heated Units Only.
- Provides supplemental heat when door is closed and allows the air curtain to run at the speed selected to protect the opening when the door is opened. When door is closed the air curtain runs at low speed for supplemental heat until the thermostat is satisfied.
- Consists of a magnetic reed door switch, a time delay, a thermostat, and 24 volt control.
Berner offers an Automation Control Package version of all Control Packages, these allow the air curtain to interact with Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Automatic Door Controllers to turn on or off.
